Whimsical Abstract Characters

In my paintings, I create environments where humanity is distilled into simple forms I call hokomeo. These figures—round, wide-eyed, and deceptively playful—float through crowded spaces that oscillate between whimsical and unsettling. Their repetition forms hypnotic rhythms, evoking the push and pull between individuality and conformity, connection and isolation.
